The "Silver coating" has a great non-stick component which considerably helps the chip-discharging process and slows down accumulation of resinous material close to the tips.

The non stick industrial coating reduces the tool's temperature while in use, preventing overheating and deformation of the same.

In both solutions there be a reduced power-consumption, because the tool will actually move more easily over the machined material, resistance to humidity will also increase.
